Baker offers an easy care, long service life with no maintenance. However accidents happen, so the non-permanent fittings can easily be replaced or repaired to maximise the life cycle of your furniture investment.
All of the Baker stools components are manufactured in New Zealand.
We use die cast aluminium components as they offer high precision, high strength and high production efficiency. We use the Dulux 915 Line to powder coat our aluminium which contains no solvents or solvent emissions and is TGIC free. It is not formulated with VOCs and has no VOCs added. Powder coated surfaces are manufactured from 100% solid powder coating material - no solvents or water are used in the paint material or powder coating process.
We love using timber for its durability and longevity - it is a renewable resource, recyclable and biodegradable. Our American White Oak is sourced from US forests which have a long-standing tradition of sustainable forest management, bolstered by a strong legal framework for environmental conservation. The raw material is manufactured into component parts and lacquered locally using a water based, Low VOC and Formaldehyde-free product
Our products are designed to last a lifetime, however wants and needs can change over time. When no longer fit for use, the components easily come apart so they can be refinished or separated back into basic components for recycling.
With weight distributed in all the right places, Baker is stable on its feet. It’s light enough to pick up or move around but won’t tip easily - perfect for the early morning frenzy with the kids or the hustle of a busy office.

The extremely tough, injection moulded polyurethane feet are fastener free, UV resistant and won’t mark or damage your floors. Designed for a precise fit so they won’t fall out. Timber legs are supplied with hard wearing, noise reducing felt feet.
