The Kase Storage System has been specified throughout ANZ’s new low rise workplace in Melbourne’s Docklands. The 87,000 square metre building designed by Hassell has set a new benchmark for environmental design and construction.

We now use ABS Edge Tape and low formaldehyde emitting (E0) MDF substrate as a standard on all our laminate table tops and panels, including Kase cupboard and drawer fronts.

ABS has a higher heat resistance than PVC; is lighter, provides a cleaner edge, is more durable and less prone to scratching. It does not contain chlorine, heavy metals or formaldehyde.

Laminex Lakepine Zero MDF is specifically developed for situations where lower formaldehyde emission levels are preferred. A significant proportion of pre-consumer recycled and reclaimed wood fibre is used in the production giving it a high eco-preferred content.
